Long Lake Adventures - Plaster Rock, NB - Riverlands & Milky Way Astroregion.

Welcome to Long Lake Adventures, New Brunswick’s premier destination for wilderness escape, rugged outdoor thrills, and perhaps most enchantingly the magic of truly dark skies. Nestled deep in the heart of pristine forest, our remote retreat offers an unspoiled haven for nature lovers, anglers, hunters, and stargazers alike.

A Wilderness Sanctuary Like No Other Run by fourth-generation outfitters Tanya and Clay Harrison, Long Lake Adventures is more than just a getaway... it’s a legacy. Our remote camp lies on privately leased land, granting exclusive access to not one but three secluded lakes, each brimming with opportunity for fishing, boating, kayaking, hiking, or simply lying back and listening to the forest breathe. We pride ourselves on offering a deeply personal experience. Whether you're staying in one of our cozy cabins or floating off to our off-grid Island Oasis, complete with a rain-shower and lakeside serenity, you'll feel immediately connected to nature.

Outdoor Adventure by Day Adventure seekers will find no shortage of excitement here. Try your hand at trophy fishing in our wild, well-managed lakes — an angler’s paradise. Our hunting program is equally exceptional: as the only outfitter in New Brunswick that maintains a year-round presence in this wilderness, our expert guides scout and monitor prime hunting territory so you're always in the thick of the action. For those not chasing fish or game, rest assured—our property is equally inviting for relaxation. Swim, paddle, hike, or sit by the water’s edge to soak in the calm.

A Stargazer’s Dream: Dark Skies & Astro-Tourism When the sun dips below the treetops, Long Lake Adventures transforms into a sanctuary for stargazers. We are officially certified as a Dark Sky Destination, offering some of the darkest skies in the region. Our location has a Bortle scale rating of 2 or lower, meaning minimal light pollution and brilliant visibility—ideal for amateur astronomers, astrophotographers, families, or anyone who wants to gaze upward in awe.  Whether you’re using binoculars, setting up a telescope, or just lying on a blanket by the fire, the sky here feels infinite.

Comfortable, Rustic Accommodations Our cabins are designed for genuine simplicity and comfort: equipped with propane stoves, electric lights, running water, and cozy furnishings. For a more off-grid experience, try the Island Oasis—fully equipped with essentials and a rustic charm that invites connection with nature.
